This is the first half of the highlight video I made of my trip to DC last year. I named it "Chocolate City" after that killer Parliament song from the 70's that talks about how the black population in DC surpassed the white population.

Fuck politics? Funk was create by James Brown's need to do his part in the re-Africanization of African American culture in North America. Which stemmed out of a little movement known as the Civil Rights Movement and the frustration African Americans felt about the lack of change despite it. So yeah, fuck politics.
