i have done this in split screen and i just get knocked out buy him not downed but eyes closed and splayed on the floor

@crazyman3561 zombies die over time im a pc player, i fly on the roof and they just die, and the rounds go by really fast after the first few have passed... the dogs take ages to die tho

i did it online with this guy we threw grenades at him for about seven rounds at round 8 we threw our grenades shot at em he fell the rope swung and hit us both and it said game over and took us to the lobby

@crazyman3561 If you leave zombies alone long enough, they die. Their heads will just randomly explode, like what you occasionally see at the end of the game when the zombies are standing still. They just instantly die.

This isn't a glitch. It was intentionally put into the game by Treyarch to freak people out. You knock him down by throwing grenades at him and getting his feet stuck on the ledge nearby. And it does have a different effect depending on whether you're in solo, split-screen, or xbox live(psn online).
