  • some good info there. but like most surface mount soldering examples, the chip is not particularly fine pitched. I'd like to see you do that on an old IC that is being remounted to repair (for example) and arcade PCB. Something like a QFP240 with 0.5mm pitch legs..... using a new IC with 0.8 or 1.27 mm pin spacing is pretty easy :-)

  • How fine of a pitch would you like to see?

  • hey question will flux damage any other areas

  • You should always make sure the flux is compatible with parts, and boards before you use it.

  • Thanks for the comments.

  • Good staff master Norman thanks for sharing. From GHSP in Grand Haven see you around...

  • Great video. I often get bridges on our 100 leg Microchip PIC32. I use a chisel tip and the gel type flux. I am hardly successful. Could it be the flux or tip I'm using?

  • I wish to know what type of flux being used in the video?

    Thanks.
