Apollo 16 astronaut John Young salutes while jumping in the air, thus demonstrating the effects of lunar gravity. He is in a good mood.
Charlie Duke is taking still photos of it all.
Also in this sequence, Houston relay the news that the Space Shuttle has been approved by the US Congress. Of course, no one is aware (including himself) that John Young would end up commanding the first Shuttle flight 9 years later.

  • Salut!

  • @MrKoshak it's a historic fact that man went to the moon many times. just a few conspiracy nuts make up lies and false claims normally because they haven't achieved anything in their lives and/or can't get laid etc

  • @prosperomage Haha, it says a great deal about you that you just called me a dork instead of a moron or an idiot. Most people get very offended and foaming at their mouth. I don't really care if they went to the Moon or not. It doesn't affect my life in any way. I'm just having fun challenging people :). Cheers

  • @MrKoshak That's an antenna, you dork.

You can SEE that it's only about 12 inches long.

Look here for more on the wires: watch?v=hjEItn1sSQg

  • @NearMeKZ, No. NASA is not "privately owned."

It is an agency of the U.S. government, like the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration).

It was established by an act of Congress in 1958 when the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA -- founded in 1915 by another act of Congress) was dissolved.

And there is no reason to "believe" that Apollo didn't send people to the moon unless you want to just "believe" people who can't do arithmetic and make up all sorts of crap fake "evidence."

  • i had no idea its privately owned, thanks for the insight.

  • 0:57 1:28 This guys's wires, on which he was suspended, weren't camouflaged well.

  • did anyone else botice the flag not moving?

  • @NearMeKZ NASA was never part of the us government its a privately owned organization. however i do agree that most people dont think for themselves

  • PEOPLE REALLY THINK NASA WENT TO THE MOON, THIS IS JUST A FAKE STAGE. AMERICAN GOVERNMENT IS FOUNDED ON LIE'S. PEOPLE ARE SO BRAINWASHED INTO BELIEVING ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING THE GOVERNMENT TELLS THEM, IT'S LIKE PEOPLE DON'T THINK FOR THEMSELVES ANY MORE!
