Personally, my favorite clip from Justice League: Crisis on two earths. A DC Animated Studios production. A fantastic movie that I encourage all DC fans to watch.
Kind of a spoiler alert, this is towards the end of the movie and is in effect the climax as well as one of the most bad ass batman quotes ever. It's even better when context is provided. So, with that in mind, if you like this clip, watch the movie; you'll love it.

  • That line was a direct reference to the 1992 animated series "I am the Night." Look up that episode, probably the best I have ever seen

  • @TuLegitify

Just watched it. I had already seen the whole series before, and I remembered the episode but not the specific line. Very awesome ep btw. Although the reference was a lot more subtle than I would've thought.it was still pretty cool. Won't find it online easily though. Had to sort through my own collection.

  • @SuperNathan125

It means not to fuck with the goddamn Batman

  • The bitch got owned.

  • @Rosbif86 You could also apply this quote to Joker; while Joker succumbed to the madness and looks at life like a big joke now, Batman never gave up on life.

  • @SuperNathan125 As I understand it, given Owl Man is the alternate reality's Batman they both had similar, dark experiences in life (i.e. parent's deaths). However, the way they reacted to them was different. Owl Man "looked into the Abyss" (i.e. experienced these events) and flinched, allowing himself to be consumed by them, turning out bad. Batman on the other hand stared straight at them and didn't allow these events to negatively shape his life, instead choosing to stand against them

  • Will someone tell me what he means when he says that please?

  • Batman has always brought out the most poetic yet dark and sorrowful quotes in every medium he is PROPERLY portrait. Same goes for the joker. They both are one of the very few normal humans in the comic universe yet they are 2 of the most influential. Says a lot about intelligence and fear manipulation.

  • Yeah, that quote is awesome. One of my favorite's too, not only is it badass in itself but I love that Batman is referencing Nietzche:
