Vauxhall Cruise Control - All models

Cruise Control allows you to set a speed and take your foot off the gas pedal. This gives better mpg and allows you to focus on the road, rather than checking your speed all the time. This shows how steady the speed is kept. Your local Vauxhall Dealer can fit this to most models from 54 plate onwards, just give them a call. My local dealer is doing it for £100 inclusive.

This was in 6th gear in a Corsa 1.7Cdti

@MrSalvatoree If you look on the Vauxhall forums you'll find how to fit it. I've read you can buy the stalk for about £25 and as long as there's a certain coloured wire in the loom you can have it switched on in the engine management.

Have a good search on the forums, you'll find lots of info from people who have done it

what are the mpg like, when you cruise control at this speed in 6th gear?

@TheBaziiN Here's the results of a 1.7CDTi 2 door Corsa.

Each speed was done for 10 miles and was the average mpg after resetting the computer.

80mph = 40mpg

70mph = 47mpg

60mph = 65mpg
