by the way man you should get BBK header BBK or Flowmaster off road-h pipe and flowmaster 2 chambers you'll get that loud hollow sound

foxbody mustangs had the 5.0 motors AKA the 302 but its actually a 289 stroked to a 302

The 94 was the last mustang to come with a 5.0

95-2010 they use the 4.6 liter v8 but the 05-2010 use DOHC motors dual over head cam motors the 03 cobra's came with the 5.4 liter mod motors i could go on and on but these are just some of the basics oh and in the 95 the motors were reduced to 281 it does look small but they are fast as hell but i own an 88 gt 5.0

no all 95 GT's had the 5.0 they did not start with the 4.6 till 96 and you can tell the diff because the 94 and 95 have horazontial lines in the tail lights not vertical like the 96 and up.

@rp94cobra stop talking dude 95 was the last year for 5.0 and 03 cobra had a 4.6 4 valve not a 5.4 . The only mustangs with the 5.4 liter are gt500 starting in 07 and the rare 2000 cobra R btw 281 is small in displacement but huge in size

Flowmasters sound nice, but they have an drone to much. While Dynomax isn't as loud they flow better. Flowmasters for the sound. Dynomax for the power its plan and simple

@rp94cobra 5.0 motors were in mustangs up till 95 with the 96+mustangs having the 4.6. in 03 the cobras were running a 4.6 liter supercharged motor NOT a 5.4. the 5.4 came out in the shelby GT 500, all that ia california special is was a sticker package and a different bumper, it ran the same engine as a GT

Not trying to be disagreeable, but I was also under the impression '94 was the last year of the 5.0l, and was a transitional year for the 4.6l, (my dad worked at a Ford dealer). Not saying it means anything though lol.

In any case one of those years either '94 or '95 both the 5.0l and 4.6l were available at the same time and finding a 5.0l in that year is rare.

@rp94cobra yea 95 was the last yr of the 5.0 96 was the first yr for the 4.6 up til 98 an then in 99 they used the pi 4.6 which made like 50 hp difference from the h/c/i
