PSPscene - Tiger Woods 2008 - Sony PSP

Well, Tiger Woods golf games are pretty rare ain't they?

The PSP has had it's fair share of Annual EA sports games recycling, this time it's golf and not football!

I actually prefer Tiger Woods 2008, compared to the 2009 version.
EA *ucked up with the putting controls on TW 2009.
The method chosen for putting is much better on this game.

The graphics on TW 2008 are pretty good and run at decent speed, with very little slowdown being evident.
The courses look good, with nice bright green shades being used to break up the fairways and greens.
The golfers look reasonable and offer fair variation, animation as they take shots and walk around the course.

Sound is good, with nice commentary and golfing sound effects, gallery cheers ect.

Gameplay is the main thing to implement well with any successful golf title, I'm glad to say the controls on TW 2008 are probably the best your likely to see on a handheld.
They take some getting used to but after a couple of rounds you will get much better scores.

As for PSP golf? I'd opt for this one, although I do like the course options in TW 2009 more, the putting interface is completly hopeless.
