There are a big number of incidents related with honour killing in islam / islamic countries.

Father saw his daughter walking on street and didn't put on her Hijab, he just took a sword and simply swung the sword at the neck of daughter with full speed, the head was off.

The father returned home proudly and the neighbours simply agreed with his deed because it complies islam's teaching perfectly.

Isn't it strange / monstrous? yes, and it happens !!

i'm a muslim live in malaysia and i agree with him...this is not what teach in islam.. if someone (islam) did something wrong then he/she have to be advised either by heart(if youre not able to do something)/ mouth(speak)/ hand(slap)...BUT NEVER KILL ANYBODY..THAT IS ILLEGAL IN ISLAM...if u follow the true islam then u know what is right and what is wrong...and this tradition is absolutely wrong..

He didn't say Kurdish because it would not be poltically correct... It is a fact that honor killing is Kurdish peoples tradition. But again it would be politically incorrect to point fingers.

@animefreak873 Yes i do know what it is. And it isn't propaganda when it happens right around the corner from where i live and its a direct story which is simple. I don't know where you live but with mine they tell you what they don't know and do know. I am pretty sure it is what it is even when the person who did it said what he did, plus witness', and investigation. He through his wife and kids out the window, "he" said it was a honour killing and would do it 100 times more if he could -_-

I hate these damn countries....You can say all you want about racism but i am not racist...i say the truth...Fuck how come where i live with all the middle eastern there is like people thowing there kids and wife out windows and then you go to a white area down town...i don't hear much. I don't get it. Like these people are fucked. Sure there is some that are ok but most of these people man are fucked.

@bbphnix Yes, as a tourist you won't necessarily talk about social issues. And the facade in Dubrovnik IS breath-taking.. ;-)

But don't get a wrong picture, our country is changing fast against all odds. Young people see religious dogmas very differently as their parents and the future belongs to them.

So I'm very optimistic.

@bbphnix Hi. Yes, they're nice people but in society the church is very influental. Many think gays shouldn't have rights at all, women are sometimes still treated as objects. And many people are very naive in regards to politics and politicians. Besides, there are people who regularely go to church but in real life behave like monkeys (corruption, liars and so on). But still, don't forget the cool guys, they're getting more and more.. ;-)
