really cool cover, alot more emphasis on melody. which is funny cuz it felt like fripp the melody man focused on rhythm for this one. never the less amazing cover, by amazing musicians.
And Pat..well, just looking at the guy you can tell he's built like a red Fire Hydrant. Seems to me his approach to a song like Red is..hit a lot of things & at times..hit them hard! hehe. No one told him that back in the 80's Bruford played this on touch sensitive E Drums? Well, a good drumming workout never hurt anyone. Again, a good version of Red..played by a trio filling it out like a 4 piece. 1 last comment about Bruford; had more or less the pro talent with first Yes songs. distinct
@dendendn you know, a thought like that I don't think would've occured to me..but your right! Yea..these Stickers..Sticking it to the fans at this show & giving them their dollars worth. Red's such a cold, mean loveable song; only someone as ratcheted up as Bobby F in the day could've wrote it. But yea. Tony dominates. For some reason I want to say with '80s crim at least he played bass on this. But here he obviously shows a broader approach with getting the job done 'real well'. cont'd.
sweet watching pat mastelotto play on here. he came to our school for a clinic a little while back, played a show with the faculty, it was sweet that the ended on 21st century schizoid man
