I remeber back in the 80's as a kid at Dodgertown you could walk side by side with guys like Garvey and Lopes; getting spit on and farted on, dirt all over the place. A couple of years later they put up these little ropes, they won a World Series. Then years after that gates then fences then.... once the best airport director Vero Beach ever had retired, Dodgertown wasnt the same.

Don't get fooled by these "Los Angeles" Imposters who called themselves "The Dodgers". Remember this, "The Dodgers" are all about "big business" and money. The Franchise left "Brooklyn". "The Dodgers" cared less about History and Tradition. If that is really the case, "The Organization' should of stayed in Brooklyn.

The "Dodgers" name should be returned to Brooklyn. This Organization has too much "Brooklyn Origin" to call itself "The Los Angeles Dodgers".. Los Angeles stole "The Dodgers" from Brooklyn.

Minor league systems switch out after a while. The dodgers are going to move to a new complex in Arizona.
Thanks for this! In a world of Bonds and Clemons, LaSorda is one of a kind, a true gem.

Thanks for posting this video on youtube. I was there in Vero Beach for this game, and it was good to see Lasorda thank these people for years of support. I am very sad to see the Dodgers leave, but I have 23 seasons of fond memories from Dodgertown.
