awn is great too (i love the gaim gestures)

it is easier to compile and use kiba-dock that is more funny than cairo-dock, also thanks for helping others who have some problems while compiling it...

hi :-)
i don't do nothing special in the terminal. just downloading and compiling gnome-dock from the svn repository. then i drag some icons from the menu to the desktop and copy the *.desktop files from there to the gnome-dock directory. this is a lazy method to create entries for the dock.
