Hey there. I mean this kindly - we're all heretics, aren't we? Even Jesus was considered a heretic by the organised religion that he challenged. And if making heartfelt attempts to explore truth makes Richard Rohr a heretic, then I guess he's in good company. ;)

Richard Rohr, OFM is a Franciscan Monk who is revered by the Catholic church, honored by two Popes and admired by millions through his writings about spirituality and faith. You should read some of his works like Hidden Things... he is truly a Godly and good man with amazing insights into our relationship with God and Christ Jesus. Christianity is a religion, not a strait jacket. Any faith, and especially one that proclaims itself to be Catholic (or universal), must address the diverse spiritual needs of all its members. Calling this "satanistic" and the speaker a "heretic" is backwards - in fact, such a position is anti-Catholic and reflects a world view with blinders on - I can't see anything from anybody else's point of view, and if doesn't agree with mine, then I call them satanistic and heretical.

The difficulty with separation anxiety is that we don't want to admit it to ourselves and we certainly don't want others to see it. But to heal we have to open this fear out and go back to the beginning in a way and start afresh learing to trust the people who love us when we weren't able for some reason to do that as children. This works.
