As promised, the follow up vid to the range vid. Still a little under the weather so it's not perfect but I'll redo it if you guys tell me it's too annoying. If you guys have any questions, I'll either answer in comments or PM. If I get enough I'll just do another followup vid.

  • nice video thank you very much!

  • @MrJames277 Thanks for watching!

  • I'm on the verge of purchasing my first Glock. I've been really impressed with what I've seen/heard about the weapon so far for the most part. I have heard about the concerns you raised here with the spring/ejection issues. You mention the '04' spring; have you replaced your spring yet, and has that solved any of the issues? Thanks a bunch!

  • @mtyetti I haven't had any issues and I still have the 03 spring. I've followed the issue closely and in reality it seems that the issues were with a very, very few of the Gen 4's. The issues were only when shooting the light 115 gr. rounds. This coupled with limp wristing (improper grip). From everything I gather the 04 has taken care of the issue if it did exist. I highly suggest getting one. I do believe they are shipping with the 04 springs now, if not Glock will ship you one for free.

  • @pickmylocks the 19 is a compact handgun. there is no comapct 19. the 19 is a compact 17.

  • I purchased an adaptor for $8 and $10 for a new 3rd generation recoil spring for my Gen 4 Glock. What is funny is that it is cheaper for me to use a Gen 3 Spring conversion than purchase a Gen 4 Spring. I like the back strap and stippling change and the 3 magazines. I do think the Recoil spring change was a mistake and I am not a fan of the trigger change on the Gen. 4.

  • I've had my 4th gen 19 for about a month now. First 800 rounds or so I ran though it I had 20 or so FTE. Not sure what the "break in" time is for them but the last 400 rounds have been flawless, loads great, ejects nicely. I've found that the American Eagle / Federal Ammunition works the best (for me at least), my father-in-law traded me 100 reloaded rounds he got from a gun show and those ran great as well. (even though Glock frowns on that) I had no issues with them. Happy with this gun!

  • Nice video! I own the exact same pistol and I love my glock 19 gen 4. Do you mind checking out my review on it? Thanks man! Glock n' Load!

  • @pickmylocks the G19 iz the compact the G26 iz the subcompact

  • @pickmylocks Glock doesn't sell them directly in this configuration. This one just happened to be a order overrun for a large department when I bought it from Ed's Public Safety. You can get the sights and release aftermarket though.

  • @pickmylocks This is a Glock 19. I have pretty large hands so that may make it look smaller. The 26 is very short in the grip area.

  • I purchased a G19 gen 4 a few days ago, ran 100 rounds of 124 gr NATO no problem

may changed out the trigger for a ghost trigger 3.5, did that on my G23 love that trigger

    Good vd, thanks !
