And we wonder why people show up in workplaces with guns and start shooting? I worked at a place where a guy whom nobody would suspect committed a murder-suicide. I didn't work directly with that man, but he was in our room.

@mkeulr I believe it. This is the pathetic "Real world",we live in. A world of corruption, stupidity, greed and heartlessness. From birth we're taught that the world is this wonderful place of opportunities,in our fluffy fucking world, watching our fluffy fucking cartoons, thinking everything is just going to be fucking dandy.
After high-school we start to slowly discover the avalanche of bullshit piling up,quicker each time, until its a fucking mountain. Ah,the "Real world" we live in. Fantastic.

I was with a company for over 20 years with an exceptional background of excellent service and evaluations and I was fired by a new HR director based on lies from a couple of employees who had only been with the company under five years. I had went to my boss about insubordination from one of these folks who were on a staff that I inherited. This guy told me he was going to screw me and that this other person would back him. I told this to my boss. A month later I was fired and I was innocent.

@crispin165 Boo hoo. The big huge corporation with billions of dollars is really going to lose so much money because of a complaining employee. Look at BP! Look at all they did wrong. They are still in business. Look at Enron they were in business for ages as the top corporation before they went down the toilet.
dont trust HR! Ever!

HR is not there to help the employees. Their job is to protect the company. Most of them have no clue about the real world and they act like you need a PHD to push boxes around in a warehouse.
