You don't have a clue about what you're talking about. Tthe democrats controlled the majority of Congress at the time and had the majority of "yea" votes, but many republicans also strongly favored the corporate welfare package.
Obama and Bush are no different in their general approach to the economy. Forget about the rhetoric and compare their actions.

The democrats and republicans voted for the bailouts. If John McCain was serious about being president he would've voted against the bailouts and picked somebody better than Sarah Palin. McCain obviously picked Palin to ensure an Obama Victory. The Wall Street banks were the top contributors to both Republican and Democratic Campaigns who're administering their bailout with your tax money. No Conspiracy there. You can loosen all the credit you want, without jobs nobody is going to get paid back

Voters in the USA have exchanged one group of economic idiots for another. I wish that Jim Rogers were in charge of US fiscal and monetary policy.
