He was great in Hawaii...I miss him here, Our new coach changed us sooo much....its basically a new team, with new uniforms and everything. He is the MASTER of the Run and shoot!!!

@SaturdaySoundOffsTV They run what's called an "Air Raid" OKST, WVU, and Houston run these along with TTU. SMU is different than this.

No its not. The Air Raid does use some run n shoot concepts, like 4 wide sets, audibling in and out of plays based on how many defenders are in the "box", etc, but the air raid is more of a west coast style offense, meaning they use short passes as an extention of, or even a replacement for, the run game. The Run n Shoot is a deep passing, high scoring offense that doesnt focus much on ball control, if at all

The Run & Shoot is a pass first offense.
The run and shoot is very basic formation wise: 4 WRs, either trips, or 2 by 2. 5 wide is used very rarely.
You will also never have a TE on the field.
"The Spread" has much more formation variety: Shotgun Pro Sets, Trips or felx with a TE, Power sets with a fullck or TE in the backfield, quad formations, empty backfield, etc.

Great video. Is this the same offense that Mike Leach runs at Texas Tech? I notice there they sometimes have two backs in the backfield and three wide reicevers.

You know, I'm not entirely sure. I'd love to find out, and if Leach did something with ESPN like Jones did a few months ago, it could shed some light on it. What's weird is that while I get what makes June Jones' offense tick, I still don't have a 100% grasp on Leach's offense.
