2012 Charter Revision Committee

The 2012 Charter Revision Committee members are representative of the community and residents of Austin during the charter revision process; one of the largest topics they will address is geographic districting for the City of Austin.

They will meet throughout the end of 2011 with the goal to recommend charter revisions to the Austin City Council early 2012. The Committee will seek public input from the community and civic organizations during this process. Those wanting to participate are encouraged to attend one of the Committee meetings where they will have an opportunity to address the Committee, participate on the online forum or call the Committee hotline. The website has links and resources that will help to ensure the process is accessible to all parties wanting to participate.
