i bought this phone for my boyfriend and the right side soft key is set to launch the web browser (which will suck up all your minutes) is there any way to set it to messages or something else isn't so crucial if you accidentally press it?

These phones are so convenient for people who don't use their cellphones too often. Tracfone is doing the right thing by only charging people for what they actually use. I think this would make a great birthday gift for my mom because of its large text and ease of use.

My kids love their sliders from Tracfone and i love the double minutes plan that helps save costs! i used to have a contract family plan but Tracfone is just so much cheaper and the coverage so good that I would never waste money on a contract again!

Hey thats a very cool phone. Havent been shopping around for a phone, but that ones pretty neat. At $50, is it really worth it compared to the other tracfones?

@toniethewit Boy wait till you see the Tracfone Samsung Finesse....you will drool! You can afford it though with the money you will save with the double minutes for life plan where you get double the minutes you pay for when you get airtime, overseas calls cost the same as local and incoming texts are free!

amazing how many people have come to see how amazing prepaid phones are, i always thought that prepaid where horrible little things, that no one used, now i have purched 3 of them, for the kids and my dad, just simple this way, because i cant manage 3 contracts, and tracfone is rather affordable
