It's got to be from early '84 because the blocking was changed later that year so that a car wasn't in the lift until the last car cleared the reverse area. In its original year, the Cedar Point logo didn't appear in the cars yet. kennywoodracer that coaster in the background is actually the Wildcat in its original location. It was moved to its present location after the 1984 season when Avalanche Run was built.
That's actually the Wildcat at its original location before it was moved to its current location after the 1984 season to make way for Avalanche Run.

This Demon Drop looks pretty tame compared to the Giant Drop here in Chicago. There is no coaster car, just seats and your feet dangling
