On that day, 5,000 innocent civilians, 75% women and children, immediately perished. This was not the only chemical attack ordered by Saddam, it was just the worst.

@tokyoking2 No, the US only give dual weapons to Saddam, thus could be made out of chemicals but no real WMDs. The rest of the real WMDs comes from Europe. It comes from the fact. the U.S. does give materials that Saddam could made it for WMDs but it's not real.

They supported Iraq during their war with Iran, and supplied weapons while at the same time supplying small limited amounts to Iran. United States have a deceitful government.

@12usamas No the US did not gave Saddam WMDs....these stuffs come from Europe and the USSR during the Cold War. 1% of its military imports from the US, and by far the majority of bulk of Saddam's weapons came from the USSR, Europe, and China. The US only gave Iraq "Dual weapons" that was made for low-technology. Google them up.

And the gas that Saddam used on the Kurds was a German gas.
