French composer Charles Gounod wrote a piano solo in 1872 entitled "Funeral March of a Marionette", but little did he know that his composition would end up many years later becoming a theme for a famous film director and television drama. "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" began in 1955 and over the years made this theme a widely recognizable piece of classical music.
