This is a short video on how to change your marketing devices and strategies to suit the four different personality types of buyers. In this video, Tony Gattari says "You need to know how to market emotionally to your propect's hearts. It's not your job to appeal to their heads it's your job to massage their hearts."
Here are the four personality types of buyers and some marketing tips on how you can attract them to your products and services:
Eagle - They are results driven, extroverts and they love to win. To attract them, offer them a deal - a limited special offer that can't be beaten. Offer them something that allows them to win. Use statistics to show them the results of how your product has transformed other people. Show them real specific results. Use robust language and be direct to the point. Use copy that is succinct and direct. Be very visual. Show them summaries and FAQs in order to help them simplify their decision making.
Peacock - They are into image and are extroverted. To attract peacocks, use very exclusive brands. Have brilliant marketing literature that is very professional and have an air of exclusivity. Use celebrity endorsements. Have a professional, cutting-edge website. Show them brochures that reflect your edge. Use bright and colourful language.
Dove - They are into security and risk reduction. They are introverted, but are into people. Their marketing language is guarantees and testimonials from other doves. Show them video testimonials and a step-by-step process. Offer them money back guarantee. Offer them your best sellers and show them your client list of people who have bought from you. A dove's mentality is, "if it's popular, it must be good".
Owl - They are into facts and details. They are introverted and results driven. They are fascinated by facts. Show them FAQs, white papers and technical brochures.
