You are the best,,,, I watch all your tutitorals and some of the other hoopers too. but you are the only one that actually told us what size hoop and psi you are using. As a beginner I want to have the same weight as you for what you ar teaching us today Now need to go practice. thanks again

Do you make your own hoops or purchase them? You're so awesome!

@MsCougar94 I thought I had responded to this. I apologize! I make my own hoops. My favorite size are 1/2" diameter in about 100 psi or 125 psi and made to a roundness of about 40 inches. They are easy to make. The wrapping is the most challenging part. There are good instructions on Hooping.org. I can help you if you need help.

What size hoop are you using?

@cindychauvie This is about a 39 or 40-inch hoop made of tubing that is 1/2" in diameter and 100 psi.

Are your hoops filled with anything? I picked a couple little ones just to fool around with that are water filled and I have trouble keeping them balanced.

@susan21869 Yes, the water in your hoop is throwing off your balance. I recommend drilling a small hole in your hoop and then putting it in the tub so the water runs out. You'll find it much easier to use. And if your small hoops are department store hoops for kids, you'll probably have better luck with them if you wrap them in some gaffer's tape or even electrical tape. They'll grip you better and add a little weight but distributed evenly unlike the water that's inside now. Good luck!
