Man you are an idiot. If we banned weapons the Cartels would get them from Salvadorian guerrillas. The majority of weapons come from there not from the states. There's no gun shop where you can buy grenades and RPGs. And the military don't fear the Cartels, they straight up slaughter them every time there is a gun battle. The Marines just have bullshit engagement rules which doesn't allow to shoot them on sight.

The drug cartels embodies all that is wrong with the world. They are temporary and all those that support or work for them, darkness awaits them after death.

Death is the end result of anything they produce and anyone they touch with their vile and viscous business.

Well it's already happening in the state of Michoacan. Armed citizen groups have formed a civilian police after the Cartel in that state started putting taxes on food and everything. And there has been several clashes between them and the Cartels are losing strength in that state. They're doing a better job than the government.
