@THEeddievee As stated below in the comments (a year ago!) I only put that because I did not have the lyrics - or a computer to look them UP on!

And it cannot be changed NOW!

You did this BRILLIANTLY ~ I knew you could lose much of the lead vocal by pulling out the headphone socket half way but you'd mastered it so well here !

@BearZest - Oh, it's WAY more complicated than that! Messing with a headphone plug CAN achieve the effect - but I designed a circuit that fed the left and right "positive" outputs through two isolating transformers - creating a RECORDABLE third channel - being the DIFFERENCE between the two. On a "ping-pong" stereo record, this FILTERS OUT the "centre" (normally containing the vocal). I designed the circuit as an electronics student, some 25 years ago - but now, some amps have 'em BUILT IN!

@Dogsledfan - You're absolutely right! I found out the correct lyric later, but when I originally did this (some years ago) I did not have the lyric, so being named Mike, made UP that bit!!
