@HardCoreProgrammer1 My stance is no major is a sure thing in terms of job prospects. We have a lot of engineering, law, and nursing grads unemployed or working jobs other than their field to make ends meet.

Research..how much money do they make...professors arent rich..lol... I wouldnt go to the field of biology, not unique there and there is not plenty of jobs

You only need a degree if you want to be an engineer, doctor or lawer (and may be architect or geology too depending on your economy)...90% of the other degrees dont guarantee a job

i got a degree..it doesnt count for shit..even if you get 90% on it, there is a probability of no job...job experience counts for 10 times more in my country

He's living in generation X and W NOT Generation Y. Obama doesn't get it. Don't go to university...take career tests and counciling and figure out what you want to do and spend money on professional training. Generation Y make your own future.

Your future is im portant, if planned correctly and with the proper motivation and follow through it is worth any investment. Maybe school isn't the best investment for every one, but I believe in generally speaking it is. Play the cards you're dealt folks and good luck.
