Eric Johnson is no doubt a great great player but he's definitely having off night. Don't get me wrong he still kicked ass in this performance but was no doubt off his A-game here!

@monkeydude1313 the difference is, you could actually get quite good in a day at guitar hero, and master it in x months, there ain't no thing as mastering the guitar

Dude, chill out. People who play guitar hero probably just want the thrill of playing guitar in a band without having to stress out and learn a new thing. They cant learn it either because they work, they dont have time, or just want to play the songs they love.
Myabe people play it because they want to play with their friends. You can learn Guitar hero in a day, you cant learn real guitar for at LEAST a month, probably more. And people just wanna play the songs they like.

Fer Chrissake, he's a master of technique, imagination, sound, phrasing. Give me half of his talent, I would also be making a living in music. The fact that he can get onstage with Satch and Vai *might* kind of indicate that he's a heavyweight musician with every right to be in their company. If someone doesn't like his vibe, they should look up someone else on YouTube.
