FM£ are not a company as such, they are an ambient duo based in China, FM3 have said in interviews that all the sounds on BUDDHA MACHINE 1 & 2 are tradditional Eastern instruments (not guitars) treated and processed where appropiate. If you dont like or understand Ambient music then it will not be for you.

@flyermanic yes...the same way a vacuum cleaner sucks up dirt but do you question its purpose?

I have been seeing this thing for years and reading dozens of articles about it and I still have no idea what the fuck it IS. Is the idea that it's just a very elaborately packaged music record? Why would someone buy this machine instead of just buying an ambient music CD?

@isaacinspace You can play with the loops on this, its easier to play than a CD, you dont need anything other than the box.
Its portable.

If you don't know about Ambient Music then you wouldn't know...

LOOK WHAT I FOUND - Greetings everyone .......... lol or anyone interested - the Buddha Machine 3.99 is available as an itunes application virtual 12 samples and different color choices - a Buddha Box 1.99 w/ 15 chants w/ a timer up to 12hrs and cool gong alert - so far I LOVE the Buddha Box for 1.99 best more user friendly
