On Ecuador's Galapagos Islands -- a fiery eruption of lava and ash. The La Cumbre volcano on Fernandina Island roared back to life after a four-year silence. Local television images showed lava shooting out of the volcano's crater into the night sky. The island is uninhabited, but the eruption's a cause of concern to scientists -- who are worried the flow of lava into the ocean could threaten the island's marine life.
