  • To make the cleaning process easier, bungi cord the gas tank to your tractor wheel and go for a drive, plow a field or whatever!

  • thought this was a video about cleaning a gas tank, not a video of 2 old motors...

  • Wonder if this will work with a 2 stroke snowmobile tank with 12 year old (or older) 2 cycle oil at the bottom...

  • Good Thinkin!,Not!

  • Wagner, I´ve cleaned the fuel tank of my motorcycle 2 times and the rust always builds up again. You´ve mentioned something that protects the tank in order so that won´t happen again. What was it? And will this product won´t disolve and end up in the carburetors??? Help me out. Thanks!

  • dumpin the gas in the dirt...niiice

  • obviously the guy that bought the motor didnt know a 351 from his ass either

  • MY METHODS WILL HAVE STUFF SHINING LIKE NEW TRUST ME, IVE BEEN DOING THIS A LONG TIME

  • A BROKEN AUTOMOTIVE GLASS WINDOW, MUCH MORE AGRESSIVE !

I rent a pressure washer with flex head, stand the tank upwards against a wall and be done in 5 mins ; ).

Or take a large pot of boiling water, add a bottle of vinegar, let sit for 2 days, shake the tank for 10 mins, drain, rinse, add water and box of baking soda, shake 10 mins, drain, rinse let dry.

Or use a gallon of chem dip carb and parts cleaner, let sit 2 days, and come back to a shiny tank after rinsing out.

  • good video, but should have used a chain instead of gravel

  • thats alot of work.
