Most E36 owners install a Signature Motoring performance intake kit for around 9HP gain. Cost is a mere $150 or so, best value per HP gain in the E36 line.
Install time if only about 30-45 minutes in most applications. I have one in my 94 325i cabrio.
Crazy nice sound. Most performance guys install a Signature Motoring performance intake kit for around 9HP gain in the E30.
Install time is about 30 min, maybe 45 for two left hands. LOL

@electricbeach and you are just some1 with a big mouth.. it's true that ít requires 2 hands for safe driving, what if you cramp?? huh?

@nepenthean Its not us spec look where redline... Redline on a us spec is at 6500 and on a euro spec it 7500

sounds like a auto think its more of a 2.8 if hes lucky they never made a me evo with auto box just smg and manual
-
put some subs in that thing and you'll be roll'n

Much of the viscerality of a manual ///M3 is lost in an auto.

This car by all means though should be going faster than this by a large margin if he was going WOT. However in the description he says he goes hard at 5k rpms which still isnt convincing. I have the US m3 and going WOT in 3rd gear will get me going a lot quicker. And nobody say anything about the gearbox, i have the auto and its 5 speeds are the euro 6 speeds without the 6th gear which makes highway cruising about 1500rpm but its worth it for the brisk acceleration

Yea, you're right. Sounds like mine. I think mine pulls hard at 4krpms, but this is my first performance vehicle.

You dont have an oil pressure monitor on your dash. This is in fact a Euro M3 evo
dont understand its the same as my car inside, but its a lot slower

if you read the blurb, you'll see it's not an acceleration test, more a "how fast will it go in third?" test. It was simply too dangerous to unleash the 3.2 at full tilt with only one hand on the wheel! I only gave it the beans at approx 5k revs as stated. It's a "Euro" Evo 321 bhp for the avoidance of doubt, NOT the US 240 hp job.
