no authority to . . . for example take over bank or automakers . . yet legislature enact seat belt laws, still yet can not enact bank regulations i.e. the banks must keep minimum 17% of their deposits in reserve for hard times. It is not in the Constitution the authority to require G.M. to put laminated windscreens or seat belts in their cars. It is not in the Constitution the authority to use cruel and inhuman treatment on accused and convicted [well maybe that one is in the Constitution)

OPINION: The USA is a Military Dictatorship. Since the President has assumed (wrongfully) WAR time powers i.e. commander in chief, then the rule of law is 'trite' . This is a Constitutionally limited REPUBLIC, not a Democracy. If you don't believe me, search the US Constitution for the words "democracy" and "republic". Just because 1 group gains a majority does not mean they get to do what ever they want. We have certain God-given rights that our Constitution recognizes. Furthermore, the Federal Government is not granted the right to do anything beyond those specific powers enumerated to it by the Constitution.
