Synopsis


The X Factor is a television music talent show franchise originating in the United Kingdom, where it was devised as a replacement for Pop Idol. The competitions, now held in various countries, are contested by aspiring pop singers, and talent-filled aspiring performers drawn from public auditions. The "X Factor" of the title refers to the undefinable "something" that makes for star quality. The prize is usually a recording contract (in addition to the publicity that appearance in the later stages of the show itself generates, not only for the winner but also for other highly ranked contestants). The format creator is Simon Cowell who also judges and mentors on the UK series. The UK version is responsible for the launch of Leona Lewis.

OMG I totally agree with Cheryl and Dani, wtf are those girls wearing? They all look like they need to work out, exercise and run up mountain tops! I mean their makeup is horribly all wrong, too dark, almost gothic gone wrong mixed with some dominatrix gross, they are pretty ugly too! These girls looked better then they sang.Really the outfits were too much! I found it hard to concentrate on thier singing my eyes kept being drawn to thier outfits! I mean they come out saying right that they dont' want people to focus on thier past! then they come out dressed like hockers! They weren't even that tallented! Im so glad they were the act to leave the competition first! They dont' stand out as amazing! the other contestants are much better! All of the xfactor girl bands are shit!
