The Edge shows the secrets of his successful guitar stylings. From the awesome 2008 documentary "It Might Get Loud" which also features Jack White of the White Stripes and Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin. Worth the rent for Page alone.

  • "U2s The Edge reveals his guitar secrets" !!! ha ha no surprise that the vid only lasts for 33 seconds

  • @marklarvickar Sorry you're wrong...cause you don't realize how long the man spends, countless hours..days,weeks,years coming up with different sounds...creating guitar parts using effects....easy to say that now given the advancement of technology but this guy was doing this over 20 years ago..figuring out all these sounds himself....everybody says they know how to do what he does now after the fact....so why didn't they do it if it was so easy?....the answer is because it wasn't that easy

  • "Hey, this is a really cool new riff!

    *Band members' confused expressions*

Oh sorry! I forgot the foot pedal...."

    And Elevation was born.

  • @thesinner922 and aint it funny that Frusciante loves the Edge...you tube "Frusciante - Sunday Bloody Sunday"....looks like you been knocked the fuck out douchebag

  • @thesinner922 you seem like you would know all about sucking donkey cock...must have learned from your daddy aka the ass

  • In the late 70's, I got to see tons of new bands in NYC. I saw the Police & I saw it immediately, they were tight and very good musicians, they were going to be huge. Then I saw U2 & I wasn't too impressed. The Edge himself made apologies that he was only playing for a year or so. I think that not being a very proficient player, he used the guitar differently than others did. I thought U2 would go nowhere, boy was I wrong. He has a very unique tone, making U2 instantly recognizable.

  • This is a humble man!!! WUAO!!!!!
