Myst IV Revelation Pt 10: Good Vibrations

Part 10 is finally here, and we're definitely knee deep in a lot of gears, nuts & bolts. In this episode, we'll use a combination of Sirrus's notes and our own wits to make some good ole vibrations. Enjoy the music!

***Gear Puzzle Solution***

1) Move the left gear down 3 positions
2) Move the center gear down 2 positions
3) move the right gear down 6 positions

***Chair Puzzle Solution***

There are many ways to do this one. However, the method I used is as follows:

(A) Left 6, Center 12, Right 4

(B) Left 3, Center 1, Right 7

(C) Left 10, Center 5, Right 5

(D) Left 12, Center 12, Right 12

Please note: That Sirrus's notes are scattered about Spire, and even with the notes it still takes wits and or guessing to figure things out. For sake of time, I skipped directly to the solution in this video.

@superdame1996 I would like to help you, but I'm not sure which light you mean and at what part of the video. Do you mean the light bulbs on the chair?

@superdame1996 The spider chair puzzle is fairly complex. Among other things, it requires one to restore power to the chair as well as move gears etc. That being said, because it is a difficult puzzle and because I'm not exactly sure what steps you took to solve it prior to sitting in the spider chair and because I'm still puzzled myself what you meant by "in the upper right corner is still in move", I think the best thing to do is either re-watch my walkthrough videos or look up a guide online.

@superdame1996 Parts 7a-11b in my Myst IV Walkthrough , covers all of Spire. On the other hand, if you're looking for a great text walkthrough with pictures I would suggest searching Google for the text "myst iv walkthrough". At the top of the list, should be a website called gameboomers. From there, click on the Spire walkthrough link. It's very helpful, and filled with lots of good information. I need to play this game again. I live in a student block with 8 other people on my floor, so I really appreciate the sense of space and peace you get when you're 'transported' into the world of Myst.

YES i finally got the sliders in time! it felt like such an accomplishment after trying a bunch haha. I didnt bother looking for all the notes. Too many scattered around. Maybe I would have figured out the combinations myself if they were all in one book

OH MY GOD, this part of the game is the devil!!! but other than that it's my favorite compy game EVER!! :D
