Stand a Little Taller (We Will Miss You President Hinckley)

Many will say that the song does not fit, but I have a special reason behind it. The Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley passed away on January 27, 2008 after 97 years of life. He focused on us, the youth so much. In meetings the first question he posed was "So how are our youth?" As President Hinckley said "This is the time to STAND A LITTLE TALLER"

I was still on my mission when he died. We'd walked into a members homw and I just wanted it to be a bad joke, but then I knew it would be okay, and that he was having a wonderful reuniun with ols friends, like Pres. Faust, and especially with his wife, and that as he always has done, God was not leaving us without guidance, and we would soon be blessed with another prophet of the lord to guide us in his place.

i love president hinckley soooooooo much!!!!! he is my hero and i am proud to be one of the many youth that he is so proud of. his smile always cheered me up and his advice and council has influenced my life in many great ways. i love u so much president hinckley!!!! i miss u A LOT and i am really looking forward to seeing u in heaven!!!!!!!
