http://www.n-the-florida-keys.com. Diving the coral reefs of the Florida Keys is one of the best places to be on this earth. Hard corals, soft corals purple sea fans and lots of fish live on this living coral reef in the Florida Keys.

  • I got to tell you I was out there yesterday and today and the water is really really clear, great visibility but it's cold. All this damn Canadian air so early in the season has really cooled the water off quick and if you're planning to visit the Florida Key this winter season 2010 - 2011 be sure to bring a thick wetsuit and a hoodie, you'll need it.

  • are you usein smthn to breathe in the video or u r holdin it for this 2 min .

    nice video btw

  • I'm usin' usein smthn to breathe, compressed air!

  • great vid. suprised by some of the comments here, I thought it was common knowlege that the "global warming crisis" is (was) a farce just as the "global cooling crisis" was when I was a kid.

  • Global warning is one of those things that you and I can't prove or disprove and by the time it's figured out it will be too late.

  • Where exactly is this, I'm going there this summer, July to be precise and I always dreamed of Sea scuba diving and I need to be there !! where is it please ?!

  • @vijomyda If the portions of salt, water, plankton, and the level of lighting are not kept at precisely the right levels, the coral will die. And not to mention too, the water needs to be kept circulating at *all* times. The circulation ensures that the coral is properly fed it's meals of phytoplankton and that it's wastes are carried away. Without water circulation, the coral would starve and build up a lot of waste, which will result in the death of the coral.

  • @vijomyda Not only is it actually illegal in Florida to collect coral from the reefs, but it is a lot harder than you think to keep that coral alive for more than a week or so in an aquarium. Coral is extremely high maintenance. The water in your aquarium has to be, like, totally perfect if you want to grow coral and keep it alive for a very long time. The portions of salt, water, phytoplankton, and not to mention the lighting, all have to be kept at the exact right amounts at all times.
