The Trailer for a hard-hitting emotionally charged 48 min documentary by Bill Maloney (Award winning independent film director) whos family were all brought up in the UK care system).

It covers Maloneys recent visit and interpretation of Jersey, Channel Islands, following the ongoing child abuse investigations of the childrens care home Haut de la Garenne. The documentary contains strong language and strong opinions.

Due to his and his familys experiences of Establishment care homes Maloney felt compelled to see first hand the response of Islanders to the alleged abuse claims and their general feeling for the Governing States. A mixed response of silence, anger and insensitively is catalogued from this island of geographical beauty with an ugly underbelly.

2 seemingly vagely related points, while this was prominant in the news at the time it was happening 'wicker man' was replayed over and over everynight for weeks on tv. The Jersey beast is one to search, interestingly once he'd finally been caught after the police were blaming someone else dispite the accurances still happening, he moved to live at the isle of wight (which has another set up like jersey).
