@LycoValleyRRFan It's not "hick music". The best and most apt name for it I've heard is "Crucial Country" I've seen these folks and many of their ilk play. The music is sophisticated - the musicians generally seem like truly good, down to earth people.

It's so nice to actually hear someone sing without the help of voice boxes & digital enhancements. Real talent doesn't need all the smoke & mirrors!

This destroys anything played on Country radio the past 20 years. This song and New Favorite should have both been Number 1s without effort. Such a damn shame.
