one of my favorites songs
I'm not even religious, but he touches the soul, is great at the guitar, sometimes he brings groove and the funk and he has a message, and at times it's religious - and I swear, the 2 times I stood in the crowd and listend to him live was making me somehow believe in something holding everything together, the glue between people. That two concerts were the only two spiritual moments in my life!
I don't like the newer direction that much though.

Very well said. I share the same sentiment. Have seen Ben three times, twice in an intimate setting -- and on all 3 occasions, felt connected to something larger. His music , pulls feelings and emotions from me, that no drug ever could. I grew up on rock standards and classics, and love them all. But I somehow connect and relate more to Ben than anyone else. His music has impacted my life -- and I'm very thankful.
