the trick is this: in the lower left picture you see a "<" and between the pictures in the middle you see a "4". put that together at the cdoe wheel and you get the hourglass looking symbol for the 9. the counting trick is this: you have to count the angles or sharp corners. the "O" hat no angles, the "<" one, etc. if the 9 has a symbol with 6 angles, the 7 must have one with 4 and the 1 gets one with 8. that's all, took me nearly an hour :/

Ive Got it! <=4 so the < is three spaces behind the 4 in the 1 space, so 4's symbol has only 1 angle so the symbol for seven should have only four angles (7-3=4) and three spaces behind one is 8 so 1 has 8 angles.
