Marina Abramovic is someone of whom I have no knowledge nor understanding. She is and will probably always remain incomprehensible to me, spiritually, psychologically and artistically. If, however, she were to come to my door having run out of teabags, I see no reason why I would not spare her my last one. I like to invisage it as a supremely human moment.

Marina Abramovic's work really seems to evoke strong opinions, and in that alone her art is completely successful. It gets people to examine what they truly believe. Her art exceeds this sole value, however, in that it shows a person who commits to living in the liminal spaces her questions create. She doesn't dwell in polemics. Though academically capable, her art appears to be more about questioning and subtracting all that is unnecessary and living in that which is most essentially human.

I have seen this woman perform live and speak live and she is truly and inspiration. She is not crazy at all...she is an amazing soul. And no Im sorry but not everyone is as inventive as her. Are your exhibits at the MOMA you moron.
