Sir,

Your teachings continue to have far reaching effect on us as we live our daily lives. You were not only a great teacher but also an exemplary house master. You created the environment in which the seeds of excellence found a place to grow. However good our raw talent may have been, it only converted into action by your passionate involvement in our cause. Never did it occur to us that losing was an option, even if we were short on skills. You taught us how to make teams work and how to make individual sacrifices. You taught that the hunger to win must be coupled with the spirit of honour and virtuous conduct.

You taught us that learning happened as much from a hard fought victory as from losing a great match. No role was less important , and everyone was to assume a leadership-role or a member-role if the situation demanded. You made us believe that that an extra push can sometimes be the difference between excellence and mediocre.

While you were there encouraging us to go out and give our best, ma'am did everything to support us, her concerns for our well-being in the school was nothing short of extraordinary. We want to thank both of your for giving us a home away from home in our early years of school life.
