два экспериментальных короткометражных фильма - Salome (1973) и Forbidden (1975-1978) - главные роли в которых сыграли друзья режиссера из труппы The Dog Company, играющие пьесы в жанре Гран-Гиньоль (Grand Guignol).
It shows elements that are in the hellraiser movies too. The pin, the light that raises. The elements of the box. The making of the drawings are the most beautiful and plastic movements in my opinion. It doesn't seem to have a story in the classical sense, but a test of images and how it appears on screen. The birds caged and the draw in pieces seems to show the impossibility of the total expression of the intentions. And since it is not a dominated technich, but a test, a real feeling is there.
Wish there was more of it posted here. I never got to see the ending. I just remember a really long scene of a guy with a boner spinning around, and those nails being shown casting shadows over and over again.
You're right about "The Forbidden" the short story from The Books of Blood. This idea is more like a genesis for The Hellbound Heart and the Hellraiser movies. What do you think?
WOW!! i'm glad to hear such remark from a person who had seen the full versions of both film...i'm dying to see what would happen after this, but unlucky we only got the short versions on Youtube here!!T___________T

Dammit, surely this can't be the original soundtrack for this film. If it is, the music heard when this was on Exposure was way better.

@RPMir I thought that this film was Barker's take on the Faust legend were a man sells his soul to the devil in exchange for knowledge
