The Beatles - Strawberry Fields Forever 1967
"Strawberry Fields Forever" is a song by the English rock band The Beatles. Although formally attributed to John Lennon and Paul McCartney, the song is acknowledged as having been composed predominantly by Lennon. It was inspired by a Salvation Army house near Lennon's childhood home. * John Lennon -- double-tracked vocal, lead guitar, piano and maracas * Paul McCartney -- Mellotron and bass * George Harrison -- electric slide guitar * Ringo Starr -- drums and backward cymbals
In other news, I have added the lyrics to this song so you can sing along, or perhaps learn the song! This is how I learned my first Beatles song! Enjoy :)

People arguing and insulting each other over a Beatles song about peace and harmony. Oh, the irony!

It's an illusion, the world has never been neither corrupt or good (but there will be good and bad popular music :P). The will always be good and bad people. Look at the Beatles' screaming fan-girls, you think they were not ready to lift up their skirts for Lennon and Co?

I started listening to the Beatles In Kindergarten, 7 years later I come back to this song and realize that after listening all there songs constantly that this was the first Beatles I've ever heard, The music is beautiful.

For the true meaning of The Beatles' songs there is no need to listen to the lyrics backwards or take drugs. Just google "Truth Contest The Present" and read through the Beatles section (pg 59).

the book "The Beatles Recording Sessions" they tell you of the well-known story of how this is 2 songs put together, the story goes, John liked this first take for the first half and take #22 for the second half George Martin said "John it's in 2 different octaves and beats, John said "you're the genius , fix it" George Martin got the 2 songs together and in the book they say "listen at your own peril you'll never hear it the same again" the 2 songs put together happens at :58 seconds
