@zaroonx because u dont need to have velocity to have accelaration...For example when u start ur car velocity is zero but the moment u hit the throtle u accelerate...

Please stop being such wannabe wise asses and admit that this video is perfectly right!

@kcronoss You are incorrect; the video is accurate. Watch it more closely.

when velocity is zero how can acceleration be maximum????
zaroonx 4 months ago
@zaroonx Because velocity is changing?
PelletierPhysics 4 months ago
it's wrong :}
because when the movement begins, the speed is 0, not maximum
but during the movement when the object passes through the point O, the speed is maximum.;}

@kcronoss
The video begins while the velocity is maximum, at the middle position (x=0).

you're velocity function seems off. shouldn't there be 0 velocity at A and -A? Also, shouldn't velocity have it's steepest slope midway between A and -A, at V max?

@bd6m20 There is zero velocity when position is A and -A, has seen on the graph. However, velocity has zero slope (acceleration) when it reaches its maximum value. The velocity function is simply the derivative of the position, I don't see what could be wrong with it.
