  • Is this a rehearsal, or a concert? They play it without soul, without any meaning to the deepness of this number. And it's so falsch!

  • wow... this song touches my soul.. and im into metal!

  • Andres Gerszenzon demonstrating that most rare asset of a conductor - self-effacement.

Nothing obscures Bach's music which IN ITSELF has depth of meaning and soul.

    The lily requires no gilt.

  • It's beautiful.

Bach was a Lutheran, but that isn't important.

    His music touched the soul.

  • Even though I first heard this piece in the movie "Casino" , I'm so glad Martin Scorsese, was sensitive and brilliant in making it such a vital part of the movie. It is truly heavenly and so moving. Thank you for sharing. M.G. Seattle

  • An excellent performance. Not many people appreciate classical music anymore. And, just to let you guys know, this piece is not inherently Catholic, as many might typify alot of Bach's pieces to be so. He did write some for the purpose of being used in a mass...well, just go study Bach's history.
