  • @rumpwrestler Actually, I have been influenced by the wishes of the composer. Ya, know. The guy that wrote the damned thing. Words and music as well as ALL the quite specific stage directions? I am sure it pleases the masses and if it gets them to go to the opera, all well and good. It serves a purpose.

  • @flattilre I cannot endorse your stupid comment.

  • @jgesselberty you obviously have been influenced by that old fashioned dreck at the MET. Get out of your sand box and travel around, seeing new productions. THIS ONE is amazing and charming.

  • This production is absolutely stunning, very creativ, very artistic. Absolutely loved every minute of it. Bravo to LA Opera and everybody involved to have the vision and courage to create a piece of art that is so unique and non conformist.

  • Interesante video, gracias

  • LA is the hight seat of all that is tacky and irellevant, these days. What a pastiche of crap. Bring on the oompa loompas and don't forget the snoz wangers.

  • seconded.

  • The only things missing from this mess are Joan Rivers, Nancy Pelosi and her extra set of eyelashes, and a urine-coated drunk. Being descended in a straightline from the noble Gibichung tribe, I cannot endorse this production. Yet, indeed, Wagner is indestructable. Thanks for posting this.

  • Thank you

    Maestro Placido Domingo
