I didn't do the ./configure thing, and handled the symbolic link differently. I did this on Ubuntu 8.10, Audacity 1.3.5-beta sudo ln -s /dev/dsp1 /dev/dsp0
and then in audacity choose Edit->Preferences->Recording->
Device: /dev/dsp1 -
So this works with MIDI n a bunch or other shit too?

i have the m-audio mic, and it doesnt work on comp, im having trouble locating terminal, can u plz help me more on this, i dont understand :(
